Lusitania Moves To Cambridge

Tuesday, 12 February, 2019

Dear Parents,

It is no surprise that Lusitania has decided to embark on the process of becoming a registered Cambridge International School.

The move is in line with the vision and plan for Lusitania to become a 21st Century School that caters for the modern child. Some skills to be learnt from the Cambridge Curriculum are that:-

  1. It creates problem solvers.
  2. It is a necessary link to Cambridge High School.
  3. It has a unique questioning style that encourages children’s analytical thinking, which reinforces the idea to learn for understanding.
  4. The reporting is much more detailed, aiming to pin-point at exactly what area a particular student may have gone wrong

Please see the attached document entitled “Why Cambridge?” produced by Cambridge Assessment International Education.

We, as the management and staff of Lusitania School are excited about this new initiative and we look forward to excelling in this exciting new Curriculum as we have done in the past.

We are sure that you and your children will join us in our excitement at what the future holds.

Best Regards

Mr. D. Oswald
