Lusitania is a Lusophonic school and offers classes to all pupils to learn the Portuguese language. This is overseen by the Camoes Institute, culminating in the writing of the A1-B level International Examination in Grade 6.  

Our school is one of very few Primary schools in Zimbabwe that offers a foreign language qualification. This becomes an essential pre-requisite later in life when applying for various university study and work-related visas outside of Zimbabwe.
